MEDIA, TECHNIQUE, STYLE
Yulia’s expressive and seemingly effortless mixed media works depict contemporary events and experiences, including meditative museum and café scenes, unfathomable views of historical sites, cinematic atmosphere of the streets of Boston, and flaming eccentricity of fashion shows. The artist addresses a wide range of social concerns, such as environment, culture, ethnicity, and peace. Dramatic and illustrative quality of Yulia’s paintings comes from synthesis of candid and undistorted perception, spontaneous execution, unexpected color choice, academic drawing skills and graphic design concepts.



EXHIBITIONS
The artist had two solo exhibitions in Cambridge, MA in 2005 and 2006.



COLLECTIONS
Yulia’s works are in galleries and private collections in the USA, Ukraine, Israel, Russia and Australia.
